It's just mind boggling at times, how deep you've got to look to get it right. why would anyone come up with this? It's not even fun. Maybe it's just me, but some puzzles are just like. On the Island of the Fates, I don't have that. Pandora's temple was at times challenging but it remained fun, in my opinion. In GoW 1, I could walk up to a puzzle room, and only have to look around and identify the surroundings and whatnot and I'd have it figured out. Island of the fates has just awful puzzles that are just sadistic (maybe exaggerating).

The start was easy enough, but it just gets worse. I don't know how many times I've looked up the solutions for the puzzles in this game, honestly. When I say "needlessly difficult" I mean the level design, at times, the awful hitboxes ( died so many times because some guy's weapon reaches me even though I'm clearly not touching it) and THE FUCKING PUZZLES. The combat is still manageable, enemies can be a bit tough at times but otherwise all fine. It may be worth noting that I'm playing on God Mode, but to be honest, it's not that difficult. I haven't finished it yet, so maybe I should before judging too much, but YIKES. Idk about everyone else here, but it's such an irritating disappointment.

After that I went on to finishing GoW 1 and had a lot of fun playing it.Īnd so I moved on to GoW 2 (I have the GoW Collection on PS3) and my god. I recently finished God of War 1, had started it a few months ago and forgot to continue, then got GoW 4 for christmas and just had a blast playing it till the end.
